On their 20th wedding anniversary, Cuìhuá finally convinces her grumpy husband, Qiángguó, to take a long-overdue commemorative photo in town. But what should have been a simple trip to the photo studio turns into a hilariously chaotic day, filled with bickering, budget woes, and an unexpected debate over modern technology.

As they navigate the unfamiliar streets, wrestling with the outrageous cost of a “professional” portrait and the mysteries of an urban crosswalk button, their contrasting worldviews clash at every turn. Cuìhuá dreams of capturing their decades of love in a perfect frame, while Qiángguó is convinced they’re being scammed at every corner. But beneath the witty quips and relentless complaints, their deep bond and enduring love shine through—just in their own, uniquely stubborn way.

A sharp yet heartfelt comedy, 20 Years & A Photograph is a tender exploration of love, tradition, and the small, absurd moments that make a marriage truly unforgettable.
